# Multiple Health care sources in DV 2.0

Hello DV Community,

I’m working on creating a DV of Multiple EMR systems and at a fork between single vs multiple hub dilemma.

Background: Encounters are defined differently in every EMR system, for simplicity using only two here, EMR (1) specific document types or specific billing codes on a visit, EMR (2) billed Encounter table

Source Tables 1- Document 2- doc type 3- Visit 4- visit code 5 - billed encounter

Option (1) Create a single hub on RV for the two sources knowing I have to filter on specific document types and billing codes to construct an encounter (treat reference tables as hard rules)  
Option (2) create 3 hubs (Document, Visit, and billed encounter) and defer the construction of the Encounter to BV
